THE DAY DATE
HERE’S SOMETHING YOU might not have thought about and it maybe it’s because everyone thinks all the action happens at night……Well they’d be wrong.
Let’s talk about the DAY DATE, that’s right we’re taking her out while the sun is still shining. This can be a simple yet wonderful thing. If done right it will progress the relationship and it shouldn’t cost you more then 40 BUCKS. Look at it like this with the DAY DATE all of the hoopla is gone. There’s no Valet parking, no Waiter,
no Over-Priced Food and Drink. It’s really about you and how you set it up. The key is to keep it SIMPLE. Now by simple that doesn’t mean you don’t put in any effort.
The effort is in the PREPARATION.
So what does it take to make the DAY DATE a success? This is where the effort comes in. The date should consist of a picnic and a park. Wait a second did I just here the word PICNIC? Why yes you did. Now you might be thinking…I’m too manly for a picnic…..If that’s the case…. Well you’d be wrong. Your date will actually think you’re more of a MAN for doing so and why? Because it’s fucking ROMANTIC and let us not forget Romance is the key .
Let’s talk about what you’re going to need. Let’s think European. That means we’ll have some bread, some cheese, cold-cuts and some wine. For the wine get a bottle of white or a nice rose`. It’s day time so a bottle of red would be a little too strong for the desired effect. If you’re afraid of white wine don’t be. It will show your lady that you have some class. You can get a decent bottle for 10 BUCKS. We suggest a
Sauvignon Blanc, preferably from New Zealand, or a Pinot Grigio. You’re going to want to get a loaf of bread or baguette, that’s a loaf of French bread. It should only run you a 1.99 at the local super market. When it comes to meats(cold-cuts) remember, you’re not looking to fill up. Get a quarter pound of ham, maybe some turkey. It doesn’t have to be the fancy kind and it should run you about 7 BUCKS for both. Here’s a little tip-stay away from roast beef, corn beef , pastrami or any heavy salted meats. They can wreak havoc on ones stomach. Also you must pick up some cheese and probably some crackers too. Most WOMAN love a little wine and cheese. Get a quarter pound of cheddar, swiss and maybe some provolone. Or you can grab one of those blocks of cheese.
Wine and Cheese….Yes that’s very classy.
After you have the main stuff, you’ll need a blanket, which you should be able to find in your place. We’re gonna need some cups and a knife. Bring a real steak knife from home. As for the cups, let ‘em be plastic. You don’t want to take a chance and having things break. Plastic will be fine. They should run you a BUCK or TWO.
You don’t really need a picnic basket; so don’t worry that you’ll have to carry that fucking thing around. If you have a carrying cooler, that would be fine. If not, grab a shopping bag, something with handles. No need to spend money on it.
Alright here’s the topper bring her a flower. Not a bouquet of flowers but one.
We suggest the GERBER DAISY. It’s a beautiful symbol of trust plus it’s classy and romantic. If not the Gerber make it a Yellow Rose. Don’t do the red rose. It might scare her off…Hey Women can be wacky that way.
Let’s remember this date is all about YOU and HER. No pressure, no interruptions, no C-Bass, no check to pay or tip to leave. It’s just you and the woman you want to be with. So take her out on a DAY DATE and let the romance run it’s course and the sparks will fly.
